Sports fans hate green bean casserole, Suns fans are unsure about the playoffs

This week’s FanPulse results show the good you guys hate as well as your feelings about the Suns busting into the NBA playoffs.

I’ve had green bean casserole maybe once or twice in my whole life, only at pot lucks and that sort of thing, and I guess I’m in the majority there. As we head toward Thanksgiving, SB Nation sent out a question to everyone in the FanPulse community about which dish should be banned from Thanksgiving day.

Resoundingly, the answer most went back was green bean casserole.

Again, I’m not huge on it, but at the same time it seems strange that it would garner such disdain. It’s not terrible. A perfectly fine side. Not the healthiest way to balance your meal, but nevertheless a vegetable. I’ve never looked at it and gagged.

In particular, NBA fans hate the dish. Nearly 45 percent of respondents from the NBA side of the FanPulse community listed the casserole as what they would ban.

Dave and I this week opted to add a special question in for Suns fans since the usual “confidence in the organization” question kept coming back at 100 percent.

The question: “Are you confident in the Suns making the playoffs?”

The answers:

That looks like about 59 percent. Just more than 50-50 is about where I am. There is a long road ahead of them, and it hasn’t looked pretty of late, but getting healthy and adding in Deandre Ayton will go a long way.

If the Suns can stay afloat until January, they will be able to take advantage of a soft schedule and make a run. Just something to dwell on during the joy of the holidays.

Have a great weekend!
