Suns tying Devin Booker’s All-Star Weekend performance to discounted tickets

Back to back for Book means half off tix.

Phoenix Suns phenom Devin Booker will defend his Three-Point Shootout title Saturday at NBA All-Star Weekend in Charlotte. Depending on how the future Ring of Honor inductee performs, you, the lucky fan, could score discounted tickets to Suns games in March and April.

If Book wins this weekend’s event, the cost of tickets will be cut in half. If he advances to the finals, 40% off is the discount. If he doesn’t make it out of the first round, tickets will be marked down by 30%.

The deal does not include the Lakers game on March 2nd. I know what you’re thinking. “Keith, won’t tickets be pretty cheap anyway?” Yes. “But will the discount be worth it to buy straight from the Suns rather than on the secondary market?” I don’t know.

But I’ll tell you what I have done for you. I’ve ranked the Suns home games in March and April using my own scale of watchability. That should help you make a purchase.

March 4th vs. Bucks

March 1st vs. Pelicans

March 13th vs. Jazz

March 21st vs. Pistons

April 3rd vs. Jazz

March 30th vs. Grizzlies

April 1st vs. Cavs

March 27th vs. Wizards

March 18th vs. Bulls

March 6th vs. Knicks

April 5th vs. Pelicans

Holy s*** those are some bad teams. We might actually see a couple wins. If both the Knicks and Suns manage to keep their losing streaks alive until March 6th, then obviously my list changes a little. Phoenix gets the Cavs and Hawks out of he All-Star break though, and I think they’ll win one of those.

The 2019 MTN DEW Three-Point Shootout is the second event on Saturday night and is slated to get underway at 8p ET.
