Okay Suns fans. The draft order is set and the Phoenix Suns are only a month away from Summer of Jones. What will James Jones do? What CAN he do?
- Resetting the Suns salary cap now that they have the 6th pick in the draft
- Ways the Phoenix Suns can target a max player by clearing cap without having to convince any other teams to absorb salary “because they’re nice”
- Will the Suns resign Richaun Holmes?
- Rookie of the Year Awards & Deandre Ayton’s chances against Luka Doncic & Trae Young
- What players the Suns have bird rights for
- Can they possibly target Kyrie Irving and what would they have to clear to sign him
Then we take our first turn at positional free agency review, and go over all the free agent centers out there to see who’d be the best fit backing up Deandre Ayton next year if Richaun Holmes doesn’t come back.
- Who is available at center, besides the half-dozen who were once Suns including Robin Lopez and Tyson Chandler
- How much they’ll be willing to spend to sign them
It’s a fun episode!
