We’re now less than one week away from the 2019 NBA Draft, which means Part III of our prospect debate series. On today’s episode, we break down Jarrett Culver and Cam Reddish’s biggest strengths and weaknesses in our usual deep dive format.
Culver was the most improved player in college basketball this past season, expanding his game while also carrying a primary scorer usage rate. One of the most unique and safest prospects, Culver would be the Suns’ version of Caris LeVert as a secondary ball handler who can take pressure off Devin Booker while defending opposing point guards.
Reddish is one of the biggest risks in the lottery, but his physical traits and smooth shooting stroke have many teams intrigued long-term. Drafting Reddish at No. 6 would indicate the Suns’ wing rotation is once again in flux.
Would you draft one of Culver or Reddish instead of trading the pick, Suns fans?
