Bobby Marks on Suns draft, free agency and trades... and what he thinks Suns actually do next week

Our latest Solar Panel was blessed with front office insider Bobby Marks, former VP and Asst GM of the Nets

NBA: Utah Jazz at Phoenix Suns Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

We covered everything with the Suns, including what’s to come of draft season, trade season and the great cash windfall of July where as many as 10 teams have “max” cap space.

We were joined by Bobby Marks who now works for ESPN as a front office insider after working more than a decade in the Nets front office. Bobby breaks down how teams finalize their draft boards, how important scouting is to the process (the Suns had almost none this past year), and what he thinks the Suns should — and ultimately will — do this summer to remake the team.

We talk about the best fits at point guard next to Devin Booker, which Suns prospects/players are still considered “blue chip” and whether the Suns can get in on that Anthony Davis trade one way or another.

We also cover best fits at the power forward position among the free agents out there.

What a great interview!
