D’Angelo Russell is the most coveted free agent in Suns’ fans minds since who knows when. Everywhere you turn, more of Phoenix’s fanbase continue to clamor for Devin Booker’s best friend to join him in the Valley.
On Thursday, it got ramped up another level as a D’Lo x PHX billboard was spotted in the Phoenix area:

Currently, the Suns don’t even have enough space to sign Russell with only $14.1 million available. In order to reach the desired space of $27.3 million, a max-level contract for Russell, stretching Tyler Johnson’s expiring contract and trading Josh Jackson or renouncing Kelly Oubre Jr. would have to occur.
With less than 72 hours before free agency begins, Phoenix better have a strong idea what they want to pull off. If not, the majority of the fans are pushing harder than ever for Russell to form a potent backcourt with Booker.
According to ESPN’s Zach Lowe, Booker has “campaigned” for Russell to Suns brass.
How will the Suns maneuver free agency? Will they go all-out with Russell or instead pivot in another direction?
