Finally, we have some Suns-related news to break down. According to Sean Cunningham of ABC10 Sacramento, the Suns will open their season versus a fellow Pacific Division squad on the rise.

From a schedule making point of view, it’s understandable why the NBA would have Phoenix and Sacramento face off to begin the 2019-20 campaign. Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton is a young duo with a very bright future, but De’Aaron Fox and Marvin Bagley III aren’t too far behind.

With Sacramento now heading to Talking Stick Resort Arena for their opener, did you know this will be the ninth consecutive season beginning at home? If you were curious about who, here it is in chronological order: New Orleans, Golden State, Portland, Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas, Sacramento, Portland, Dallas, and now Sacramento.

Last year, the Suns throttled the Mavericks to the tune of 121-100 for a nationally televised audience on ESPN. Booker looked the part of a superstar putting up 35 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists on 12-19 FGA. Want to relive one of the best moments from the 2018-19 season, which quickly went downhill afterwards? Check it out below, because Booker was even receiving MVP chants as his fourth quarter barrage was ongoing.

The full 82-game schedule for the Suns will be released on Monday at 12 p.m. AZ time. Stay tuned to Bright Side Of The Sun for a full breakdown.
