Solar Panel, ep. 152: Comparing Suns forwards to the rest of the West, Part 2

Tim, Dave and Greg compare the Suns projected starting forwards, Dario Saric and Kelly Oubre Jr., the rest of the Western Conference starting forwards.

Last time, you might remember that we ranked the Suns starting forwards better than the Mavericks, Kings, Nuggets and Timberwolves, while giving a respectful nod to the Grizzlies, Lakers and Clippers. Listen to the show here, to see how we came to that conclusion.

This time we rank the Suns starting forwards against the Warriors, Blazers, Rockets, Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs.

Going through this series, it’s clear that the Suns have a competitive pair of starters to the rest of the Conference. While many of the West teams have a singular talent that’s better than Saric and Oubre, it’s the Suns forwards who’d rank #2 and #3 in most four-way rankings.

So that leaves the voting to HOW much better the other team’s singular talent is.
