The big fella opened his heart and wallet for those in need.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

It’s time to give thanks for what we have and to those that help us get to where we are. If you can help someone in need, please do it. You may not be able to change the world but you can change how one person (or several) see the world.

This is a tough time for many, especially with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It’s not just the virus itself but the financial hardship it causes many for different reasons. My good thoughts are with all those that are affected, and I hope they’re able to get whatever help they may need.

Deandre Ayton worked with Phoenix Suns Charities and the Phoenix Fire Department to bring some much-needed cheer to those in need just in time for the start to the holiday season.

Together, they delivered Thanksgiving meals and essentials to Valley families. Of course, a couple of Phoenix’s favorite mascots in the Gorilla and Scorch helped out as well. Ayton also provided autographed jerseys and gift cards to ensure Arizona families will not just be heathy but happy.

Again, if you can it is important to give back to the community. This is one touching story of doing just that.

I’d also like to take a moment to give a special shout out to all those front line and essential workers for all that they have done and continue to do during these difficult times.

Stay safe. Happy Holidays!
