Happy Holidays!! Now let’s watch some NBA

From our Bright Side to your bright side, may this day be a fun one

This has been a very tough year for many of you, so in that respect I am thrilled this one is almost over.

Even the holidays seem muted, less Christmas-y, and certainly less party-y. Fewer people, fewer no hugs, no use for mistletoe outside immediate household cohabitants, maybe more alcohol and definitely more bah-humbug. It’s only fitting that I found a Grinch-like picture of the Gorilla for this occasion!

But somehow, amid all this pandemic, the Phoenix Suns have had their best run in a decade!

They are undefeated in nearly a year now (going 9-0 in games that count) and I couldn’t be happier about the franchise trajectory.

Let’s take a moment to wish each other a good day, a good season, of making the most of this bah humbug year.

Now, let’s watch some basketball! Five games on tap today... and most should be entertaining. Yes, the CURRENT Suns should be on TV but at least some former Suns are playing amiright.

Game 1: New Orleans vs. Miami Heat — ho ho ho Goran Dragic!

Game 2: Golden State at Milwaukee — hey there Kelly Oubre Jr.!

Game 3: Brooklyn Nets at Boston Celticswhats up Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire and Tyler Johnson!

Game 4: Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles Lakers — yo, Keef and Duds

Game 5: Los Angeles Clippers at Denver Nuggets and then there’s Mook

Merry NBA Christmas!

I hope all of you wonderful Bright Siders enjoy the day
