The Sun Solar Panel is putting the tenure of former Suns GM Ryan McDonough on trial.
Last week we tried him on the charge of leaving the Suns worse off than when he showed up. Next week’s charge: Destroying the team’s culture.
This week, we try him on the charge of being criminally bad at the transaction game: trades, free agency and the draft.
Tim plays the judge, Dave the prosecution and Espo the defense with YOU the listener playing jury.
We absolutely LOVED the interaction with the fans on Saturday’s show! Be sure to show up next Saturday, 7AM AZ time, to help us with the final debate and final dispensation of charges.
Watch it here, then vote below.
Now it’s your turn to vote.
Did Ryan McDonough WIN or LOSE the transaction game as GM
This poll is closed
ACQUITTED: He WON enough to compensate for the losses
CONVICTED: He LOST too many deals and draft picks to get a pass.
Dave has access to the team as a credentialed media member since 2012, while Greg brings his insights as a former Suns employee for half decade who still has his connections. Tim is a pro radio/podcast personality who grew up in Tucson and now lives in Florida. All three hosts are lifelong, unabashed Suns fans.
And leave us a review on the podcast feed and/or on Facebook. We read the good ones as well as the bad ones on the air!
