Deandre Ayton donated meals to arena construction crew and Valley health workers

The Suns’ big man is helping to feed our frontline workers — and supporting a nice restaurant across the street from the Suns’ new practice facility.

In the Suns’ latest effort to support the local Phoenix community, Deandre Ayton partnered with the local food truck Aioli Burgers to deliver hundreds of gourmet burgers to staff at the Banner Hospital branch in Glendale.

The burgers look delicious!

As you can see in the tweet above, Ayton picked Giving Tuesday, an event that has sprung up during the coronavirus pandemic, to deliver meals.

Ayton also worked to provide nice meals to those who are hard at work transforming Talking Stick Resort Arena. Those came from Ocean 44, the fancy steakhouse across the street from the Suns’ new practice facility. Surprisingly, the gourmet eatery is still doing takeaway orders during their shutdown.

The Suns did something similar in April, when they partnered with the Duce to help deliver food to under-served communities in Phoenix.

The gesture is very cool on the part of Ayton, who has consistently answered the call of supporting his communities, from Phoenix to the Bahamas.
