The Sun Solar Panel is putting the tenure of former Suns Ryan McDonough on trial.
This week they try him on the charge of leaving the Suns worse off than when he showed up.
In the next two weeks, Part 2 tries him on the transaction game and Part 3 tries him on what he did to the team culture.
Today’s show ignores that for now, and only compares what he started with versus what he left behind.
Tim plays the judge, Dave the prosecution and Espo the defense with YOU the listener playing jury. Dave makes the case that he actually started with more talent than we thought he did (7 players he jettisoned from the 2012-13 roster started in a playoff game in the next few years), while Espo argues he left behind top-end talent than he started with.
Watch it here, then vote below.
(please excuse the first few minutes of audio trouble. We get it all sorted out and you don’t miss a thing)
Now it’s your turn to vote.
