Open Thread All Day: Four games decide the West Play-in, including Suns-Mavs

There’s only one legitimate question to ask in a Suns blog’s open thread:

Will the Suns make the Play-in as the 8th seed or 9th seed?

Suns are 8th if:

• Suns win
• Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies both lose

Suns are 9th if:

• Suns win
• One of Portland or Memphis loses

Those are the only two scenarios we can consider here.

Play-in game happens on Saturday at 1:00pm. If the 9th seed wins, there’s ANOTHER play-in game on Sunday. 9th has to beat the 8th seed twice to knock them out.
