SB Nation fans across to globe are in love with the Miami Heat

In the latest SB Nation Reacts survey, NBA fans were asked their thoughts on where the playoffs currently stand and what they would like to see. In short, fans are high on the Heat.

When asked who they thought has been the MVP of the playoffs so far and who has been the best coach, both came from the Miami Heat.

I think Goran Dragic and even Tyler Herro have been more glitzy in the Eastern Conference Finals for the Heat, but it’s Jimmy who makes it all work with his incredible two-way game.

Erik Spoelstra earned 61 percent of the vote regarding the best coach in the playoffs, with no other coach receiving even 20 percent. I mean, he’s got the Heat one win from the NBA Finals without a top-50 all-time player! If you think that’s too high a bar to require of a Finals, check the last 20 Finals winners and tell me how many teams won it all without even a top-25 all-time player.

Judging from the results, fans not only appreciate how well the Heat have played, they want to see more of it. When asked what matchup fans would like to see in the Finals, the Heat were included in 80 percent of the vote.
