Now that the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, 103-100 on a crazy 30-foot three pointer by LeBron James with less than a minute to play in the first-ever play-in game for the 7th seed, we now have a complete first round playoff schedule.
The Suns are taking on the defending league champs.
- Game 1: Lakers at Suns, Sunday, 12:30 PM on ABC
- Game 2: Lakers at Suns, Tuesday, 7:00 PM on TNT
- Game 3: Suns at Lakers, Thursday, 7:00 PM on TNT
- Game 4: Suns at Lakers, Sunday, 12:30 PM on ABC
- Game 5: (if needed) Lakers at Suns, Tuesday June 1, TBD
- Game 6: (if needed) Suns at Lakers, Thursday June 3, TBD
- Game 7: (if needed) Lakers at Suns, Sunday June 6, TBD
One thing’s for sure — the Suns will go from not having any attention for 10 years to being in the best prime time slots for two weeks thanks to the draw of the Lakers for the networks.
Another thing’s for sure — the Suns have more than just the home court advantage (4 homes games vs. 3 in LA), but they will also have more fans. The Lakers only had about 6,000 fans there on Wednesday night, while the Suns are allowing 10,000+ starting Sunday.
SHOW UP AND SHOW OUT SUNS FANS!
