Baxter Holmes of ESPN reports Sarver will now be interviewed about the allegations brought before him in November:
IMHO, here's the most important line: "Employees have confirmed a range of published allegations while introducing others, sources said, and have provided the investigators with documents, specifically emails."
Some allegations have been confirmed and the list is longer than it began. The severity of the allegations as a whole remains to be seen, but my main takeaway is that this isn't going away. In fact, it grew.
How "smokey" is the smoking gun? Will Sarver's interview downgrade the allegations? Time will tell.
Transparency is required for reconciliation and healing. This far the NBA appears to be taking the right steps to this end. Let's hope it continues.
