Phoenix Suns’ guard Devin Booker has been cooking this season. He has been opening a pop-up restaurant concept in every city he visits as he has been dishing out assists and frying the competition nightly. They leave with grill marks as they’ve been charbroiled by his playmaking, shot-making, and efficiency.
Alas, the only thing that can stop Booker isn’t opposing defenses, it’s injuries. Booker, who twisted his ankle in the Suns’ loss against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, will miss the game tonight against the Nuggets.
It is the ninth game this season Booker will miss this season due to injury. He missed games earlier this season with a traveling pain that started in his foot, went to his ankle, and ended up in his right calf as a strain.
Bradley Beal remains sidelined as well with lower back issues. We are two weeks into the three-week timeline provided by Frank Vogel for reevaluation. We should no more relative to his progress next week.
The reigning NBA champions come to town tonight with a 13-6 record and on a three-game win streak. It will be the Nuggets versus Kevin Durant.
