The Phoenix Suns are patiently waiting for the return of Bradley Beal. Following an ankle sprain that occurred on December 15 against the New York Knicks, the three-time All-Star has been sidelined as he has nursed the injury.
He has been progressing in recent days and the hope is that soon he will return to the starting lineup. That return could be as soon as tonight against the Charlotte Hornets.
Bradley Beal will return for the Suns tonight, team says.— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) December 29, 2023
Bradley Beal has been listed as available for tonight‘s game, and it will be interesting to see how much he plays for the Suns. Will Frank Vogel put him in the starting lineup? Or will he play off of the bench, as suggested by a piece published earlier this morning by yours truly.
Regardless, his addition back into the lineup provides elite scoring alongside Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. In his 6 games played this season he is shooting 44.9% from the field and 42.9% from beyond the arc.
Beal’s return marks the third game in which the Big Three will play together. They’ve played a total of 24 minutes together thus far this season, in which the Suns were a +15. His addition will assist in the stabilization of the lineup and hopefully propel the Suns from a .500 team to a playoff contender.
Welcome back, Brad.
